CILG Nigeria Chapter appoints Ola Azeez as State Coordinator

The Chartered Institute of Leadership and Governance (CILG), United States of America, Nigeria Chapter, has appointed Olasunkade Azeez as Lagos State Coordinator. In a letter signed by Dr. Segun Ojarotade, the Regional Director, Nigeria Chapter, partly stated that on behalf of the International President, and Nigeria Board of Trustees, congratulate Azeez on his appointment to serve as CILG, Lagos State Pioneer Coordinator, in Nigeria.

According to him, his appointment is in recognition of his leadership experience, passion, patriotism and contribution to the growth of the Institute in Nigeria. The letter further stated that it is hoped that he will deploy his wealth of experience in mobilizing members from his network and promoting the vision of CILG in the State in particular and globally in general.

Meanwhile, Azeez has over 2 decades experience in the Management and administration of Professional Institutes in Nigeria. He has contributed immensely towards the growth of some professional bodies at local, state and national levels in the country.

He was an elected governing Council of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) and served on several Committees of Council at the National, State and Local levels for over 2 decades.

He was also a past Vice President of the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development (NITAD) where he supported its leadership with his strategic thrust skills that repositioned the Institute that earned it an unprecedented exponential growth in the last 4 four years since its inception, over 3 decades ago.

Also, he is a member of Board of Trustees, Governing Council and Fellow of Change Management Institute International.

Ola Azeez is a Fellow of many Professional Bodies in Nigeria and abroad.

It will be recalled that Azeez contributed immensely towards the success of the CILG’s maiden edition induction of new members from South West region held in Lagos, in November, 2020
